PATNA: There is not a single case of COVID-19 in Bihar so far, asserted health minister Mangal Pandey here on Thursday.
He directed all the medical colleges in the State to provide isolation wards in medical colleges and ensure availability of universal protection kit, N-95 mask and infrared thermometers.
He said that medical colleges in Patna, Bhagalpur, Gaya and Darbhanga have been directed to screen and monitor COVIC-19 patients.
Pandey also advised special invigilation in seven districts bordering Nepal and screening of people crossing over from Nepal into India. In case of being tested positive they would be admitted in district hospitals in Madhubani, Sitamarhi, East Champaran, West Champaran, Kishanganj, Araria and Supaul. As per the situation these patients are to be referred to the medical colleges attached to these districts, he added.
