PATNA: It is a relief for Bihar that not a single corona positive case has been found here since Sunday. However, the Bihar government has taken a big decision to develop Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) in Patna into a Corona Special Hospital. Now, only corona infected and suspected patients will be treated in NMCH. The hospital will be similar to the hospital in Wuhan, China for the treatment of corona.

Other patients already admitted to NMCH will be shifted to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH). If everything goes well, this decision will be implemented from today itself.

The decision was taken on Tuesday in a high level meeting. According to health sources, the hospital will be developed like it was developed in Wuhan city of China. In view of the increasing number of corona cases there, the Wuhan administration had developed a dedicated hospital for Corona, in which all infected and suspected patients of corona were admitted and treated.
