Patna: The Patna-based AN College now has a reason to smile.
It figured at 41 in the ranking made by the India Today group in it’s country wide survey quality institutions in science faculty.
Not only in Bihar, it is the first in that category in some other states like Jharkhand, West Bengal, UP and MP.
Expressing pleasure over this new status, principal Dr SP Shahi on Wednesday said five parameters, intake quality, governance, academic quality, infrastructure and environment including placement of students were taken into consideration for ranking of the institutions.
The survey was conducted by the India Today group in association with Marketing and development research associates, a Delhi based agency.
AN college, a constituent unit of Pataliputra University has also made collaboration with many Indian and foreign universities in the field of research and many of it’s alumni today occupy important posts in reputed organization all over the world.
Even in the period of lockdown when the college is closed for conventional mode of teaching, this college has regularly been holding online classes, webinars and other communicative programmes with teachers, researchers and students.
Shahi congratulated all teachers and employees for their timeless efforts which enabled to bring this honour to the college.
